Family Reimbursement Programs

Family Reimbursement funds are to be considered a last resort. Other sources of support, i.e., Medicare/ Medicaid, insurance, food stamps, Public Assistance, SSI, SSA etc., should be considered first before applying for family reimbursement funds.

About Us


 

CARES mission is to:

  • Develop and implement programs and initiatives to improve the lives and independence of children and adults and their families with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, including Autism and/or Behavioral Health issues, mental health concerns, across the lifespan from birth through adulthood.
  • To conduct ongoing research to evaluate the efficacy of intervention methods and inform best practice with data driven results.
  • To help families, in particular, from underserved multilingual communities obtain information resources and services.
  • To train community members and professionals to effectively support individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities including Autism, Behavioral Health concerns and/or Mental Health issues.
